1. How can I apply to the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work?
The application window for 2012 is currently closed. When the window is open, you will find a link the our online admission site here.

2. What are the requirements to get into the program?
Please see above.

3. What does the application process look like?
All applicants must complete both the Social Work application and the Graduate College application. The Social Work application is all online and requires what is mentioned above in the chart. The Graduate College application requires the completion of the actual application, payment of a fee, and submission of official transcripts for all schools attended.

4. What if I have a GPA lower than a 3.0?
There are options for conditional acceptance that are explained further in the graduate handbook. You may wish to contact the Graduate Liaison or Graduate Coordinator to discuss your specific situation (Anthony Natale in Norman at anatale@ou.edu or Lori Franklin in Tulsa at lfranklin@ou.edu).

5. Is the GRE required?
No, we do not require the GRE.

6. Are there any prerequisites for the program?
Yes. Though it is not a requirement to get into the program, it is required to have a statistics course before you take SWK 5083 Research Methods I and II. Advanced Standing students are exempt from this requirement.

7. Do I have to complete a degree before applying to the program?
No, but you are required to have an undergraduate degree before you start the MSW program.

8. Do you accept transfer credit?
We are sometimes able to accept graduate credit but you would need to meet with the graduate liaison to discuss this possibility.

9. How much does the program cost?
Tuition at OU is based on both the amount of hours you take per semester and whether or not you are live in or out of state when you apply. Please visit the bursar website to use the tuition estimator to find out the cost unique to you and your plans for the program.

10. Where do I go for financial aid?
