Honoring 100 for the 100th: Ben Brown

Ben Brown spoke about what a social worker means to him: “Being an effective social worker means helping people overcome obstacles that prevent them from fulfilling the fullest of their potential. Yes, it means rescuing victims, it also means addressing events and circumstances that create victims. It means being involved in affecting policies and decisions that determine people’s lives. It could mean working in government, for government, or opposing government decisions.”

As our final 100th honoree being profiled, Mr. Brown reminds us of why we are here. Thank you, social workers and friends, for the exceptional work that you do on a daily basis.
