Dr. Noyori-Corbett attended the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Institute Summer School in Beijing, China, 1-13 August 2016, with the support of the OU Ed Cline Award for which she was selected by a faculty senate.
She gained knowledge about the techniques of measuring multidimensional poverty, based upon the well-known Alkire Foster method. Both the empirical background of multidimensional poverty measurement and the conceptual background based on Amartya Sen’s capability approach were introduced to researchers from all over the world.
