Congratulations to Knee Center Scholar Vanessa Brown, MSW Candidate, for her recent presentation with Zarrow School Professors Ric Munoz, JD, MSW and Shane Brady, PhD, at the American Association of Behavioral and Social Sciences National Conference in Las Vegas, NV. The team presented on their work with survivors of intimate partner violence that explored the importance of empowerment and support of others to generating hope for safety from violence. The national conference included presenters from major US universities such as Harvard, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago. The Zarrow School continues to produce quality research that includes student contributions as a central part. For any student interested in research opportunities, please see a Zarrow School faculty member to discuss your interests.
