The Monument Quilt is a public healing space by and for survivors of rape and abuse. The quilt travels across the country and its story grows with every stop. Fabric squares are stitched together at each new location, most recently on the Schusterman Center lawn.
We are thankful to all who participated and organized the event. We were happy to join efforts with Force, Muskogee (Creek) Nation's Family Violence Prevention Program, The Family Safety Center, and DIVIS. Special thanks to alumna Shawn Partridge for her work in bringing the quilt. You can read more in the recent Huffington Post article.
