Vilona P. Cutler has been selected as a member of the NASW Social Work Pioneers. Her selection highlights her accomplishments and outstanding contribution to the social work profession. Ms. Cutler served as a Director of the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work from 1950-53 during its first MSW accreditation process and has been described as a "committed and a consistent advocate for the promotion of human dignity, improved race relations and equal opportunity for all persons." Ms. Cutler joins the ranks of other Oklahoma social workers with this honor: Ina Javellas, Herman Curiel, Judy Norlin, Ken Wedel, and Wilma Mankiller. She will be recognized during NASW's 60th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, October 23, 2015.
